We are playing catch up!!! We re-read the creation story then learned about Adam and Eve and their temptation. What a concept to understand that Adam was the first man and Eve the first woman. They showed a strong understanding for temtpation, disobedience, and punishment but the idea of first. Man and woman was a little beyond them. Lillian asked who Adam's daddy was and I told her God only. Then I explained that she is lucky because she has her daddy daddy but also that God is her father and just like she tries to please her daddy she also pleases God. This she understood because when she makes good or bad choices we ask her if she made Jesus happy or sad but I dont think she ever thought of God being her father too.
